Based on Beritajakarta.com's observation, about 50 vehicles were parked on the roadside. In fact, no parking signs are already installed there.

Rifai (41), one of local citizens, said the parked vehicles are owned by store owners along the road.

"Illegal parking surely causes traffic jam. Personnel rarely controlling the vehicles," he said, Wednesday (1/11).

North Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Transportation, Benhard Hutajulu, denied if personnel are rarely control the vehicles.

According to him, his side has controlled the illegal parking many times.

"We'll check the area again. If illegal parking remain exists, we'll control it directly," he stated.
